3 Embryos Sell from Our Trusted Donor – Missive – at Genetics on Ice

January 3, 2012 by
Filed under New From Wulf Limousin Farms

We have donated three embryos to sell at this year’s Genetics on Ice Banquet and Benefit Auction. The embryos are out of our tried & true donor – Wulfs Missive – and sired by the young, exciting herd sire Wulfs Warbonnet. Missive has sired numerous Denver bulls for us, including a popular lot from last year’s sale – Wulfs Xcellsior. These embryos will have plenty of marketability built into them considering the EPD profile and proof woven into the pedigree!

View the catalog here: http://www.nalf.org/pdf/2011/12.30/Gen_On_Ice_2012_loRes.pdf

The auction will take place Monday, January 9, 6 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel, Denver, CO. Be sure to contact us with any questions!

Excitement surrounds Wulfs Xtractor – and for good reason! As the top-selling lot in our Opporunity Sale of 2011, cattlemen raved about his rare combination of power and softness of body. Throw in his athletic stride and the fact that he’s homo polled and it’s clear that the industry is looking for bulls of this kind. Sired by the ever-popular Wulfs Titus and a matriarch of the Wulf program – Wulfs Myrlene – Xtractor’s pedigree is stacked. Get an up close look for yourself:

A look over his EPDs shows incredible growth and carcass merit. WW, YW, Ribeye, and Mainstream Index all rank in the top 1% of the breed. This much excitement around a single sire builds only so often. Extract a piece of this genetic package this breeding season.
